Hennes & Mauritz AB has tapped fashion editor and style icon Anna Dello Russo to design a collection of accessories. She has designed jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a trolley which will go on sale in around 140 H&M stores worldwide on Oct. 4.
“Anna has a fantastic eye and a strong taste, apart from being a veritable fashion icon,” Margareta van den Bosch stated. “The collection is a celebration of excess, fantasy and decoration.”
Anna Dello Russo, who is fashion director at large and creative consultant at Vogue Japan, noted it was the first time H&M had worked with a fashion editor. “This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find,” she stated. “With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day.” Just like Anna herself, this collection will not go unnoticed!
