First post of 2016…. let’s start with my look of last week’s New Year’s Eve party!
Entering 2016 meant first food & wine and then music & bubbles. I wore a cute red dress from Karen Millen. The dress is dark red and the lace print on it is more of a bright red color. I combined it with my Giuseppe Zanotti booties and my pink Miss Dior bag… and the outfit was complete.
Had I know that after the party we had to walk home because there was no available taxi to be found anywhere, I would have worn different (read: less expensive) shoes…. My heels were ruined by the time I got home :(
Jenna Lyons, president and executive creative director Jenna Lyons of J. Crew, has become the embodiment of everything the label represents, and acts as the brand’s de facto spokesperson, designer, model, stylist, and muse.
I love her style of mixing fancy luxury items like sequin tops, satin trousers, fur and statement jewelry with classic basic items such as white shirts, striped tees, crewneck sweaters and jeans. If you look in the dictionary for easy chic, you will find her picture there. I’m a fan!
Garance Doré, french fashion blogger/illustrator/photographer, has teamed up with Swedish clothing brand Marc O’Polo and created a capsule collection for their fall-winter collection 2013. It includes T-shirts and sweatshirts printed with Doré’s drawings and accompanying text.
Seize the day. Stay inspired.
I love her chic french style of drawing. It’s very romantic, seventies-inspired and… very Chloé if you ask me.
My order has been placed!
Now available on marc-o-polo.com and Marc O’Polo stores.

One of the best designers of our time, Raf Simons, now captured in a beautiful new art book from Taschen. It will give you an insight in his impeccably tailored menswear line, how he reinvented Jil Sander, and created a new look since he took charge of Dior in 2012. The book includes 120 pages of photographs as well as essays, interviews and quotes from the designer himself. A must-have for all fashion lovers out there!
Oh, sweet summer holidays with the perfect happy color combo: red + turquoise
