She was one op the original top models of the nineties, but she is still high in demand. With a return to Calvin Klein, advertising campaigns for Jason Wu and Prada, she is hotter than ever. Christy has always been a natural beauty and now at age 44 she still looks stunning! It feels like her beauty really comes from the inside. She is a true yogi, a healthy foodie, a super mommy and supporter of the charity cause ‘Every Mother Counts’. You could say that she is a super model turned super human!

One of the summer trends 2013 is ruffles & frills. And who would have thought there are so many ways of wearing ruffles: from the dramatic black/white looks of Balenciaga, to the more romantic versions from Chloe and the very colourful bright frills on the Gucci runway. It’s definitely a way to add some frivolity and femininity to your look. But keep it moderate and keep the frills on top of your dress or blouse, unless you are a flamenco dancer…

GREAT news for all the business women out there. Jason Wu is the new artistic director for Hugo Boss Womenswear. He will definitely bring the necessary focus and edge to the female side of the brand.
“With the state-of-the-art facilities that are unique to the Hugo Boss design labs, I plan to develop a strong, feminine womenswear collection that reciprocates the brand’s authority in menswear.”
The German brand, mainly known for its business attire, has been struggling lately and that has shown also in declining sales. With Jason Wu, they hope to give the brand a new fashion injection. The 30-year-old Taiwan-born, New York-based designer is a real fashion wiz kid, loved by a lot of fashion editors & journalists and… the first lady Michelle Obama. His most recent collection (fall 2013) got again a lot of good reviews for of the strong female looks he sent down the runway.
I am very excited to see the spin he will be giving to the Hugo Boss woman! His first collection for the brand will be shown at February 2014’s New York Fashion Week.
